  • Overview

    Group O is searching for a Production Lead to join its growing team! The Production Lead is responsible for scheduling/coordinating department work activities, training/coaching department members to perform relevant department practices, monitor the order status of each job through the production process and assisting where needed.


    • Schedule and coordinate work flow of orders and projects within or between departments and warehouse to expedite production: review, schedule and update job board.
    • Partner with Production Supervisor to confirm client requirements.
    • Communicate priorities according to job specifications,establish priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, materials and equipment.
    • Define, standardize, maintain and train members on work processes to improve quality and productivity.
    • Track progress on projects.
    • Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
    • Identify and prioritize the workload for all areas of responsibility  and align shift resources to areas to meet production demands
    • Monitor the productivity, efficiency and accuracy of all processes and resources.
    • Suggest modifications to established procedures and improve quality to reduce cost.
    • Track employee work activities and time spent on department related activities.
    • Coordinate, expedite and process orders into warehouse management system for shipping.
    • Report discrepancies 
    • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
    • Develop team environment and promote a positive attitude within department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent.


    • Skills  
      • PC literate (Can navigate to network file locations)
      • Able to give good verbal direction
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
      • Working overtime when required.
      • Bending, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time. 


    • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising others.

    • ISO or other formal quality systems.

    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to details skills.
