    Group O is searching for a Supervisor to join our team!  The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the assigned department meets safety, quality, production, financial, and customer goals as defined by the customer and management. 


    • Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
    • Monitor dock schedule and receiving production to ensure resources are available to complete production efficiently
    • Employee development to include evaluations and coordinating their training
    • Reading and analyzing charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
    • Demonstrating equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assigning employees to experienced workers for training
    • Conferring with management, peers or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
    • Interpreting specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers
    • Product inspection to ensure adherence to customer specifications
    • Participating in the continual improvement program
    • Developing a team environment and promoting a positive attitude within department
    • Using manpower effectively
    • Generating and maintaining departmental reports as directed


    • Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising and/or developing others
    • Minimum 1 year of verifiable forklift experience
    • Ability to read, write and speak English
    • Excellent planning, communication, and follow through skills
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail skills
    • Proficiency with computer systems. (MS-Excel, Outlook and Word, and integrated ERP systems preferred)
    • Excellent attendance- very dependable
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Bending, standing, walking and lifting for extended periods of time
    • Working overtime when required


    •  High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or better preferred. (Work experience in lieu of education will be considered).
