  • Overview

    The EDI Coordinator manages and coordinates the planning, scheduling and implementation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communication and other E-Business technology with electronic trading partners, both retailers and suppliers at the Enterprise level.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform daily EDI related tasks such as invoicing, change orders, and price discrepancies.
    • Provide EDI support for trading partners and internal users to resolve any operational or data issues including EDI translation errors, communication errors and document duplication.
    • Use various software to perform all processing, design and implementation tasks related to sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, advanced shipping notices, and third party warehouse documents.
    • Coordinate and communicate with Trading Partners and internal users to obtain/provide technical requirements necessary to create new EDI map specifications.
    • Coordinate, implement and test EDI with new trading partners and internal users.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    Education:

    • Associate’s degree in IT discipline or equivalent work experience.

    Skills:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Knowledge of ASC X12 EDI Standards.
    • Knowledge of EDI translation, communication, and interface environments.

    Desired Skills:   

    • Excellent troubleshooting skills resolving operational EDI issues with trading partners.
    • Proficient at CSV, flat files, EDI, XML and other data objects.
    • Thorough understanding of FTP and other communication protocols.
    • Experience with Trusted Link and Dynamics NAV.

    Desired Traits:

    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
