  • Overview

    Group O seeks a Marketing & Communications Specialist to support Group O’s internal corporate marketing and sales teams by creating, coordinating, and implementing internal and external marketing content.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide well-written, researched, validated, clear, consistent communications on a number of topics that span company announcements, presentations, and digital content (e-mails, case studies)
    • Partner with internal departments to develop messaging and communication plans to help drive results and support various objectives
    • E-mail Marketing
      • Create email marketing campaigns that align with digital strategy
      • Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects
      • Track, analyze, and report e-mail marketing campaign performance
      • Create and maintain database for lead generation
    • Coordinate departmental library and files of all marketing and promotional materials, resources and sales decks
    • Provide support for the Creative Services graphic request ticketing system
    • Distribute and track marketing qualified leads
    • Provide traffic management support for the Group O Creative Services (aka Graphics) team, aimed at facilitating the smooth and on-time flow of project completion
      • Serve as conduit between Client Services teams and Creative Services
      • Communicate timelines, expectations and availabilities between Client Services and Creative Services
      • Provide support and ticket entries for the Graphic Request ticketing systems
      • Provide management reports aimed at identifying and addressing spiking volumes

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business Communications, Public Relations, or another applicable field

    Experience

    • 1-3 years relevant experience preferred
    • Experience writing and editing communications (e-mails, case studies, news releases, etc)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Digital Prowess
    • Proofreading skills (clarity, grammar, spelling)
    • Solid understanding marketing communications strategies, channels, and techniques
    • Microsoft Office

    Desired Skills        

    • Experience with HubSpot
    • Familiarity writing sales content

    • Self-motivated
    • Able to work with minimal direction
