    Group O is searching for front-end Software Application Developers to join our team!  We are looking for a dynamic and passionate developer to design and implement consumer facing layers of our applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Help maintain code quality, organization, and testing automation.  Research and recommend appropriate technologies to adapt to our ever-changing customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
    • Develop and refine coding standards, methodologies and sustainable processes.
    • Deliver unit tested code to quality team with necessary information to facilitate automated testing.
    • Work with various departments to provide technical assistance during design phase of client projects
    • Research emerging technologies

    Qualifications

    Technical Skills:

    • Minimum 3 years working with javascript libraries React, Angular, Vue (ReactJS with Redux preferred)
    • Bootstrap or other responsive frameworks
    • Familiarity with Front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Enzyme)
    • Knowledge of ES6 along with HTML5/CSS3
    • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (RESTful, RPC)
    • Experience as part of a development team

     

    Desired Traits:

     

    • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
    • Team Foundation Server experience
    • Agile experience a plus
    • Experience working with remote and/or off-shore team members
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; detail oriented

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT discipline or equivalent work experience
