    Group O is searching for a Testing Lab Supervisor to join our team!  The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the assigned department meets safety, quality, production, financial, and customer goals as defined by the customer and management. 

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
    • Monitor workload to ensure resources are available to complete production efficiently
    • Employee development to include evaluations and coordinating their training
    • Reading and analyzing charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
    • Developing/researching methods and processes to test mobile devices.
    • Ensuring that the lab expected hourly output is met or exceed.
    • Provide guidance and performance feedback to operators.
    • Coming up with new methods to reduce and/or improving testing process and times.
    • Monitor workers on lab during production activities to ensure adherence to visual aids.
    • Ensure equipment and golden devices are properly stored.
    • Ensure all process and documented adhere to the company's ISO standard.
    • Participate in continuous improvement projects, including but not limited to: Kaizen, 5S's, CPAR's, and six sigma.
    • Developing a team environment and promoting a positive attitude within department
    • Generating and maintaining departmental reports as directed
    • Include and maintain all pertinent data into Kronos.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising and/or developing others
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the electronic arena or similar
    • Ability to read, write and speak English
    • Ability to handle multiple projects
    • Ability to train others required
    • Excellent planning, communication, and follow through skills
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail skills
    • Proficiency with computer systems. (MS-Excel, Outlook and Word, and integrated ERP systems preferred)
    • Proactive approach; taking new challenges and preventing issues
    • Good knowledge of mobile device (Phones, tablets, accessories).
    • Excellent attendance- very dependable
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Bending, standing, walking and lifting for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work in a fast paces, deadline driven environment.
    • Working overtime when required

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Associates degree or degree from a 4-year university or college preferred.
