    Group O is currently seeking a Jr. Industrial Engineer to join our Fort Worth, TX operation! As a Jr. Industrial Engineer, you will provide forward and reverse logistics set-up support. You will also be responsible for set-up of testing of telecom products. Through your improvements and recommendations, Group O will continue to support client targets and goals.


    • Develop work instructions for the functional testing of mobile devices (phones, tablets, accessories, hotspots, smart gadgets, and others).
    • Provides technical support to other process disciplines and production personnel for release of new production programs and procedures. Assists in the transition from development to standardize production methods.
    • With the support of the material supervisor and Ops manager, design production planning and control systems.
    • Perform time studies on manual, semi-automated and automated processes.
    • Study product requirements, design manufacturing and information systems to meet requirements.
    • Implement efficiency measurement tools and keep KPI’s under control.
    • Estimate production costs and make sure they are aligned with financial targets.
    • Design methods to ensure product quality and efficiency.
    • Resolve production problems.
    • Evaluate accuracy of production and testing equipment.
    • Provide inputs to metrics for reporting to Project Engineering Management as well as Corporate Management. This may include Technical Performance data, defects, etc.
    • Develop most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or service.
    • Contribute to designs that further advances Statistical Process Control (SPC), CPK error analysis tools and features.



    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (IE Degree preferred)


    • 3+ years experience in the telecom industry in a structured product development life cycle with emphasis in NPI.
    • 3+ years experience developing technical documentation to test mobile devices.
    • Product management experience with major Telecom OEM’s.
    • Telecommunications/Telephony/SS7 experience is required.
    • Production Line and process experience.


    • The candidate should have strong written skills with core technical competencies in carrier-grade hardware requirements, mobile communication testing.
    • Efficient at writing work instructions, technical dialog and English as a speaking language in Work Instruction Development.
    • Advance knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advance formulas and basic macros) and PowerPoint.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Visio, Project all necessary to manage objectives.
    • The candidate must be a self-starter with the capacity/desire to be a team-lead on various projects.
    • A good understanding of Industrial Engineering principles and process knowledge would be a need.
    • Process Control Plans, PFMEA, FMEA
    • Six Sigma belt is a Plus.
