    Group O is seeking a Production Technology Supervisor to join it's team in Roanoke, Texas! The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with a team of technicians in a telecom production environment. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of testing and integration for a telecom-grade solutions.


    • Work as a production tech supervisor through the product life cycle (sometimes concurrently on multiple projects) from requirements analysis through acceptance testing.
    • Actively participate in some phases of NPI (including requirements and design) to gain a complete and detailed understanding of the features to be tested.
    • Write detailed test cases and test WI based on requirements and design.
    • Work with OEM engineers to troubleshoot, resolve, and document problems.
    • Assist in maintaining and administering lab resources as needed.
    • Help reduce regression test cycles with test automation where applicable.
    • Testing with use of complex electronic equipment, and diagnosis of productions test failures down to the component level, if necessary. Identification of corrective action in a timely manner allowing production to continue in line with program.
    • Technical support to highly skilled operators to facilitate the efficient through put of hardware during production. Assessment of related software, flash and test equipment issues, directing support services to resolve equipment failures.
    • Evaluation of Technical problems in order to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements.
    • Test representative at technical meetings to ensure efficient progress of equipment and quality notifications towards corrective action for products and production.
    • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Typical tools/languages may include Lab View, Lab Windows, C++, DOORS, Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Access.



    • Associates Degree in eletronics, or applicable experience in lieu of degree


    • Candidate will have experience with both hardware and software integration and testing methodologies and will be involved in verifying, certifying all aspects of a telecom-grade, fault-tolerate, highly available, hardware and software solution.
    • Telecom LTE, WCDMA, GSM level of qualifications or equivalent.
    • Plus substantial level of pf experience in Digital and Analogue Electronics Manufacturing and Test.
    • 7 or more years’ experience as a telecom technician in a structured product development life cycle.
    • 5 or more years’ experience with telecom carrier-grade software-hardware testing.
    • Telecommunications/Telephony/SS7 experience is required.
    • Wireless Provisioning experience a major plus.

    • Accredited Service Provider and Reverse Logistics a plus


    • The candidate must have strong written skills with core technical competencies in carrier-grade hardware requirements, mobile communication protocols, and next generation voice and signaling
    • The candidate must be a self-starter with the capacity/desire to be a team-lead on various projects
    • A good understanding of measurement and test principles, and equipment
    • A good understanding of RF and Functional Testing technology at subsystem level would be a need
    • Ability to manage customer software and variant control
    • Efficient at writing work instructions, technical dialog and English as a speaking language in WI Development
    • Experience with the following protocols preferred:
      • KNOX Configurator
      • Airewatch
      • VMWear
    • Management and Customer Service Experience
    • Experience in Telecom
