    Group O is currently seeking a Marketing Intern to work alongside our Marketing team. This is an opportunity to experience and impact day-to-day operations while networking with other students in the area.

     

    As an Intern, you will participate in team-building activities, community involvement, and an opportunity to present your experience and findings to our Executive leadership team. The Marketing Intern supports Group O's internal corporate marketing, sales support and creative services function by providing a variety of project management services.

    Responsibilities

    We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in digital marketing. The Marketing Intern will work directly with the Group O Marketing department, and will learn to create blogs, email marketing campaigns and perform other miscellaneous duties.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop original digital content for a number of platforms (emails, blogs, etc.)
    • Proofread and edit materials for correct grammar, consistency, and accuracy.
    • Establish tone and copy style to reflect brand positioning.
    • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
    • Performing market analysis and research on competition.
    • Brainstorm, execute, and publish a variety of content

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge and application of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
    • Must be detail oriented and able to evaluate work independently for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established content development criteria
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Enrollment in Bachelor’s degree program: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, or related major
    • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and absorb information quickly.

    Education:       

    • Must be pursuing a degree in studies related to the departmental focus of the intern

    Skills:

    • Advanced communication skills and excellent customer service skills
    • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
    • Must be analytical and detail oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks at a time
    • Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
