  • Overview

    Group O is seeking a Technical Account Representative to oversee accounts and business in the Los Angeles area! The Technical Account Representative is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of customers’ parts and equipment as well as providing National Account support.

    Responsibilities

    • National account support
      • Supporting national account managers in assigned geographical territories
      • Performing audits of equipment and materials at client locations
      • Proactively identifying needs
      • Matching products and services with needs
      • Identify additional material opportunities within existing Clients
      • Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost savings, and efficiency

    • Coordinating sales for service and parts
      • Gathering requirements
      • Recommending purchases
      • Recommending preventative maintenance programs
      • Providing quotes and pricing options
      • Receiving orders for service and parts and relaying them to operations
    • Researching equipment and parts
    • Configuring equipment and parts to meet customer needs
    • Conducting maintenance, repair, and installation equipment and parts
    • Providing clients with training on equipment use, maintenance, and repair of equipment and parts
    • Perform SMART Audits as required

     

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Associate Degree in Electronics or Electrical studies, or applicable experience in lieu of education

    Skills

    • Knowledge and understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
    • Valid driver's license
    • Flexibility - daily hours worked based on workloads
    • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to sit, stand or bend for an extended period of time
    • Ability to travel (overnight travel on occasion)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Problem solving ability

    Experience

    • Working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
    • Working with mechanical and electrical systems
    • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment (480 Volt, 3 phase motors)
    • Previous experience in customer support
    • Strong fine motor skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Aptitude for working with electrical and mechanical systems
    • Basic user abilities in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to present information to managers, clients, suppliers and peers
