Group O is currently adding to its Talent Acquisition team! We are currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team in Milan, IL. As a member of the internal recruiting team, you will be responsible for screening and attracting talent for all of our locations across various industries and skill sets. This is an excellent opportunity to impact the growth and future of Group O enterprise-wide.


  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates, and create contacts within the industry
  • Post openings in a variety of online job boards, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
  • Utilize the internet for recruitment
    • Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting
    • Research new ways of using the internet for recruitment
    • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidate
  • Attend local professional meetings, career fairs, and other community events to establish a recognizable “employer of choice" reputation for Group O
  • Locate and document where to find ideal candidates
  • Create and update open position descriptions and facilitates description approval process with hiring managers
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, schedule in-person interviews, and extend employment offers
  • Manage vendor relationships and service
  • Conduct market analysis on hiring trends and compensation ranges
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in Group O’s Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS)
  • Perform other special projects as assigned
  • Submit background checks for potential employees and schedule drug screens
  • Developing partnerships inside and outside of HR to gain an in-depth understanding of business units and job functions.
  • New employee orientations; other HR training programs.



  • Minimum 2 years in a Recruiting role


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


  • Intermediate computer skills
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/initiative simultaneously
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Must be able to work on sensitive issues with discretion and a high level of commitment to confidentiality
  • Full cycle employment recruiting

Preferred Skills:           

  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • HR Management System (HRMS)
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish, verbal and written
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience recruiting non-exempt and exempt level employees
